Bardiche - A Dark Fantasy Adventure Seed

This is a one-page dark fantasy horror adventure seed in prose.
It's a location-based adventure, and a heist. Important bits are in bold.
You might use it as a springboard for improvisation or detail it further to your tastes.

It is system-agnostic, although there are pregenerated characters for the 24XX SRD on page two. You could easily use your old-school or free kriegsspiel game of choice.

The worldbuilding hints at terrible people doing terrible things.
It is not suited for children and reader's discretion is advised.
