Thanks to the efforts of Łukasz Kołodziej, Macabre is now available in Polish!
A one-page brutalist adventure game.
Suited for low-powered, horror OSR/FKR play.
Settings I think would work well with this:
- Dark Fantasy (Dungeon Crawls or Black Company-type Picaresque)
- Science-Fiction (Mothership/Alien-type probably works better than Star Trek)
- Weird West (does not need to be set in the US, probably should not)
- Historical or Contemporary Horror, Investigation, etc.
In this, you will find:
- Simple freeform character generation, + hit points
- Accessible 2D6-based mechanics based off the original adventure fantasy game
- Sacrifice rule for cruelty and heroism alike

Thank you for this awesome game, absolutely love this! How would you handle recovery of hits to kill ? Or would just not worry?
Glad you enjoy it! The HP recovery didn't make it into the final draft cause I wanted to keep it 1-page. I would suggest 1 hit point per full day and night of rest, as per 1974 D&D.
